Safran Transmission Systems gave the “2019 Supplier of the Year” prize to its top-performing supplier: the foundry Aviocast.
Paint Shop Is Open
Aviocast has now its own in-house paint shop to offer full services to
customers.
Grand Opening Ceremony for Aviocast New Plant (Taichung Plant) in Taichung Industrial Park
Aviocast held a grand opening ceremony on June 11, 2014, in Taichung Industrial
park, Taiwan, for a new plant for solution of Aerospace investment and sand casting including
special process.
This plant also integrates a machining shop named Altemis, a joint venture with TANIDA, a sand
casting company located in Kanazawa, Japan, in order to achieve quicker development of complete
parts. Altemis will provide our customers with shorter FAI, and support our machining partners as
well.
Beam-raising Ceremony Held
AvioCast held Beam-raising Ceremony at the new site in Taiching Industrial Park on Friday, March 1, 2013 with distinguished gests, who wrote messages parying for no-incident construction. It was announced that Sumitomo Precision Products (SPP) would make an additional investment of NTD100 million to Aviocast.
