This digital manufacturing technology overcomes the physical limitations of conventional tooling, significantly shortens development and prototyping lead times, and accurately produces highly complex cavities and thin-wall structures, improving prototype success rates for large aerospace structural components.
AvioCast continues to supply critical components to leading global aerospace manufacturers through its advanced casting capabilities. Its core products are widely used in auxiliary power unit (APU) turbine housings, aircraft engines, airborne generators, and other key structures for commercial aircraft, demonstrating its essential role in the aerospace supply chain.
Integrating Parent Company Precision Machining to Enable Coordinated Global Multi-Site Operations
Global Tek Chairman Huang Ya-Hsing stated that the partnership between Global Tek and AvioCast is centered on the synergies of a one-stop service model combining professional casting blanks, precision machining, and specialized post-processing. AvioCast’s strengths in precision casting and special processes, combined with Global Tek’s expertise in five-axis precision machining, have created a scalable aerospace manufacturing platform that significantly simplifies customers’ supply chain management.
To further improve delivery efficiency, AvioCast and Global Tek are promoting cross-regional, multi-site specialization. After precision casting and special post-processing are completed at AvioCast’s new Tainan facility, production can be integrated with Global Tek’s precision machining capacity in Taiwan, including Tainan and Xinwu, as well as Wuxi, China.
